Cargill Kitchen Solutions, formerly Sunny Fresh Foods, is a leading marketer of high value, further-processed egg products in the United States. With processing plants in Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan, our customers include premier quick-service restaurant chains as well as food manufacturers.

Position Overview:

The


Warehouse / Quality Integration Supervisor


will provide a full-time on-site representative from Cargill Kitchen Solutions (CKS) at our 3rd Party Warehouse location. This person will ensure the highest of expectations for shipping accuracy, food safety and communications are met.


Principal Accountabilities:

50%


Perform Distribution and Warehousing required tasks, which may include but not limited to:


Maintain strict control over inventories by conducting cycle counts, reconciling variances, assisting in month end and other related


Manage the receiving, shipping, handling and storage of all CKS product to ensure load prioritization to customers, quality and accuracy


Ensure outbound trucks are arriving on schedule, be on site representative for outside drivers; work with Fleet Supervisor on prioritization, trailer assignments and other fleet/warehouse related activities


Assist warehouse activities, such as sealing, trailer inspections, temp recorders, labeling, pulling samples


35% Perform FSQRC required tasks, which may include but are not limited to:


Tagging and retaining products


Product Returns


USDA Egg Product Inspection of Frozen Liquid Egg Products


Ensuring all receiving, shipping and storage Prerequisite Program (PRP) requirements are met


10% Perform export activities to include but not limited to, stamping, labeling, photographing, document preparation and validation of material


5% Update all Key Performance Indicators, complete required reports and attend training/meetings as prescribed


Other Requirements:

This stakeholder must be able to be effectively work between CKS and the 3rd Party Warehouse, making decisions based on what is best for our overall business, customer service and costs. The stakeholder must be able to analyze situations and requests and communicate effectively at multiple levels; This stakeholder must also, as their overall responsibility, be the liaison representing CKS to develop and cultivate a mutually beneficial partnership with the 3rd Party Warehouse and Logistics (3PL) Warehouse


This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s); This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions


Acquire and maintain knowledge of Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP)/Operational Prerequisite Program (OPRP)/Prerequisite Program (PRP) policies and requirements relevant to receiving, storage and shipping process(es) to complete all monitoring and/or verifications as outlined in the policies and procedures and ensure that corrections and corrective actions, if needed, are taken per said requirements


Will be required to work days and nights to ensure proper oversight of 3PL but must able to balance against work load priority


Qualifications


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor or higher level degree OR 5+ years of experience in Warehousing/Distribution or Quality Assurance


Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills across level, department and facilities


Comfort using, manipulating data, and communicating using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)


Ability to use and apply basic mathematical skills and unit conversions


Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as taking a leadership role


Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and stamp products that are close to the floor


Must be detail oriented and be able to respond quickly and accurately in a fast paced, ever-changing environment


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor or higher level degree in Logistics or Food Science/Safety or Quality Assurance


Experience within the regulated food products industry


Ideal candidate will possess previous Quality Assurance (QA) experience


Possess or being willing/able to obtain Certification on Warehouse Lift Equipment


Experience navigating and manipulating data within SAP and/or Red Prairie Warehouse Management (software)
