This Financial Analyst position supports the Multiple Sclerosis franchise with responsibilities for specific US activities as well as workstreams that span across the US and Global departments residing in the US. The position reports to the Director, Head of Finance, US Multiple Sclerosis Business Unit.

Missions and objectives:

- Prepare and post month end journal entries in accordance with Accounting Policies and Procedures for both US and Global activity residing in the US

- Generate month end close reports including P&Ls, OpEx reports by cost center, variance analysis and tactical detail project expense reports

- reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for both US and Global activity residing in the US

- Maintain Us and Global headcount reporting, tracking vacancies, drafting comments on variances vs plan and recording accruals for recruiting, relocation and bonus expense

- Own communication around month end close calendar, deadlines and deliverables

- Expert on financial systems including SAP, TM1 and Procurement system owning maintenance of cost center hierarchies, creation of reports and data integrity across systems for both US and Global activity residing in the US

- Assist in quarterly forecasts and annual budget processes including creation of templates, uploading plans into TM1 and Essbase, validating data, generating reports and creating PowerPoint slides for both US and Global activity residing in the US

- Partner with US Sales Operations team on field incentive compensation and contest plans ensuring expenses are properly reported

- Finance lead on reconciling US speaker training costs and supporting the US Communications, US Training and US Sales departments with monthly accruals, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets

- Provide assistance to the US MS Finance Team on a variety of complex, cross-functional, ad hoc projects and requests as needed


Basic Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years business finance experience, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting

- BS in Accounting/Finance required

Preferred Requirements

- Strong accounting skills; Internal Controls

- Knowledge of Hyperion, TM1 Cognos, SAP and Essbase

- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power-Point required

- The ability to work in a fast paced environment and within complex organization
