Seiko Instruments Inc. (represented in the U.S. by Seiko Instruments USA Inc.) is a manufacturing organization historically responsible for the design and production of timepieces that established the SEIKO brand name. Today, Seiko currently manufactures and markets a wide variety of products such as electronic components, scientific instruments, information systems, communication products, machine tools and printers.


Our Micro Energy Division manufactures and sells a portfolio consisting of Micro Batteries and Capacitors. We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic and high energy customer service team in providing assistance to both field sales and customers. This position will work from our U.S. headquarters, located in Torrance, California.


As the team’s Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support functions to the division’s internal and external customer base, including direct customer accounts, sales representatives and distributors. Your daily activities will include order processing, problem resolution, inventory management and processing of RMA’s, chargeback’s and sales returns. You will also be responsible submitting for monthly activity reports to our parent company in Japan.


Desired Experience and Skills:



  • 3 – 5 years previous Inside Sales Support / Sales Admin / Customer Service experience.

  • Bilingual in Japanese / English required.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills (Japanese and English).

  • Familiarity SAP enterprise software or similar ERP system.

  • Experience in Electronic Component industry a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
