We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead multiple client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and lead business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.


Our Program Management team members work closely with the other competencies and industry verticals comprising Advisory Services on engagements in areas such as finance, supply chain, customer, healthcare and energy utilities. It offers variety, challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential.


Our focus areas within Program Management provide comprehensive services to design build and operate large complex transformational programs:


Program Management Office (PMO) Design Build and Operate:

In this role you will work with our clients to establish a PMO or Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) infrastructure to mobilize and manage programs by applying a proven PMO framework and methodology based on industry recognized global standards. You will team with engagement leadership to design, establish and operate day to day program and governance structures tracking performance, status and benefit realization across workstreams. You will lead, manage and mentor a knowledgeable team with experience in planning, controlling and executing complex programs and PMO's.


Program Transformation Project Management:

Team with clients engaging in a complex transformation by providing the end-to-end program management oversight. This entails designing and managing the structures which will drive the business process transformation and IT enablement. Identifying program and workstream level risks, issues and interdependencies prior to them adversely affecting the program through your deep hands on technical and program management experience. In this role you will work with engagement leadership in a multi vendor environment to achieve targeted benefits, on time/on budget transformation enabled through optimal program design. You will assist in the development of organization and operating model structures, governance, escalation and decision frameworks to enable support and drive successful programs.


Program Delivery Effectiveness:

Our Program delivery effectiveness identifies the capability, infrastructure and design remediation actions needed to get the program capabilities to the client's intended maturity target level. Our Portfolio, Intake and Demand Management Assessments build the processes, criteria and infrastructure needed to identify and prioritize initiatives in a way that optimal results and benefits are achieved. We assist our clients in the design and implementation of their PPM capabilities and placing sound project tracking, resource and time management practices in place. In this role you will work with the client and lead your team to provide a clear picture of roadmap and drive the remediation actions needed to achieve program maturity targets.

Responsibilities


Lead large scale client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.


Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.


Generate new business opportunities. Understand Ernst & Young and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all Ernst & Young practices to serve client needs.


Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess in depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.


To qualify, candidates must have:

a bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience


a degree with an emphasis in Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics and/or Business; MBA, CPA, PMP and/or Certified SAP Solution Manager Consultant or equivalent Oracle certification preferred


approximately 6+ years of experience in complex program management, serving as the program lead on complex transformation engagements enabled by IT


designed, set up and managed multiple PMO or EPMO for a large complex program


direct experience managing at least at least 3 end-to-end business process transformation enabled by a complex ERP implementation


multiple engagements in which individual revenue managed was above 10 million dollars


deep experience implementing governance structures for complex programs and organizations. Includes definition of ownership, accountability roles and responsibilities, decision making frameworks, gate approval process, program wide communications, formalized and standard program steering


experience evaluating current business operating models, designing and executing initiatives with business benefits to streamline the process and improve the effectiveness of the organization and its operating model


strong process improvement and technical background with a proven track record of tailoring program components to meet the needs of both business and IT stakeholders


end-to-end ERP implementation experience within common technologies across SAP and Oracle


sector experience in Healthcare, Energy and Utilities and/or Financial Services a plus


history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies


excellent oral and written communication skills


a willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%


a valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
