Coshocton Manufacturing Facility – Location Overview


Located in central Ohio (one hour from Columbus) in beautiful mountain foothills, Kraft Foods-Coshocton Plant offers significant opportunities for growth and development for its over 400 engaged employees, proudly making America’s Favorite Bacon: Oscar Mayer.


This site is expanding production in 2015, and we are looking for talented, engaged employees to join our team!


Position Description:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, performs all the activities of the Human Resources Department including staffing, affirmative action, EEOC compliance, employee assistance. Provide Human Resources services to all functions in the plant by serving as a consultant to plant management and employees. The position offers the opportunity for development and career growth within the HR function in a unionized facility.


The incumbent in this position must be able to build strong relationships with their employees and have a customer-centered attitude.


Key Responsibilities:

1.


Tracks attendance records for all employees and issues disciplinary action when needed.


2.


Administers FMLA for the site


3.


Oversees and executes the internal job posting process.


4.


Answers questions from employees about attendance, benefits, etc.


5.


Recruitment of Hourly and Salaried staff as needed.


6.


EEO and AAP Administrator for the Kraft-Coshocton Plant.


7.


Works closely with Disability Case Manager for short-term disability and leaves of absences in the coordination of both salaried and hourly employees.


8.


Benefits coordinator for all employees to ensure current benefits


and benefits changes are communicated.


Escalates benefits questions and issues to corporate benefits contacts as needed.


9.


Maintains records for all internal and external training attended by Coshocton employees into the tracking system.


10.


Processes all tuition reimbursement claims and sends to corporate for payment.


11.


Coordinates all Unemployment Compensation claims by managing all claims, and works closely with the third party administrator.


12.


All other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree required. PHR certification preferred.


Previous experience in Human Resources function is required.


Experience in manufacturing environment a plus.


Prior experience in union environment would be an asset.


Must possess effective communications skills and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple processes and projects.


Strong customer focused experience is necessary to be successful in this position.


Should have understanding of Employment Law, Safety, Compensation and other HR Generalist disciplines.


Proficient in Microsoft Office.


Experience with SAP strongly preferred.


Must be able to work full-time including overtime as needed.


Must be flexible with start time to adjust to meet with employees as needed.


A successful candidate will be required to complete a background check and drug test.
