Customer Care Representative Position

We’re looking for a Customer Care Representative who will execute and deliver a strong Customer Experience related to order fulfillment in BASF North America. You should have…

- A track record of innovating and identifying process improvements

- Expertise in building customer rapport and customer relationships

- Experience in order fulfillment/logistics

- Bachelor Degree preferred; minimum of a High School Diploma required

- Six months of relevant business experience

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

- Bachelor's degree preferred and must have at least 6 months professional work experience/ college internships

- Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (especially Excel/Word) and web-based applications

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple PC applications

- Ability to interact with the customer in a helpful and friendly manner and to understand customer needs

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Ability to set priorities and manage time in a dynamic work environment

- Good problem solving, analytical and math skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills


Desired:

- Degree in supply chain management or logistics. Knowledge and understanding of supply chain process, materials planning, VMI and consignment

- Knowledge of COGNOS, SAP and Lotus Notes

- Developed business acumen

- Knowledge of Non Conformance Management (NCM) process

- APICS certification or working towards APICS certification

- Ability to read, write and speak a foreign language is desirable
