The Burberry Internship Programme provides a classroom experience in a workplace environment. Interns participate in group projects, speaker series, and are given the chance to network directly with Burberry executives. The purpose of the Burberry Internship Programme is to provide hands-on involvement to industry hopefuls who wish to gain experience in their field of study.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Competitive research and analysis
Tracking partner activity
Recaps of Marketing and Partner activity surrounding each season, major holiday, launch, etc.
Email and digital lookbook performance reports
Updating/maintaining database of wholesale partner contacts
Ordering and tracking beauty orders from SAGA for internal purposes
Maintaining beauty closet organization
Assistance with various presentations and projects including styling/key looks directives for wholesale accounts, monthly marketing reports, marketing calendars, planning documents and research for special projects
PERSONAL PROFILE
Preferred area of study in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to commit to the full 12 week program and work a total of 24 hours per week
Must be eligible to receive payment for hours worked
Ability to contribute in a small office, team-oriented environment
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Knowledge of fashion industry and competitive set
Knowledge and use of all major social media and digital platforms
Ideal candidate has strong verbal and written communication skills, is organized and thorough, has a good eye for presentation, and is self-motivated and independent
Candidate need not have extensive background in marketing or fashion, but should have a strong interest and willingness to learn.
SAP experience is a plus
