The Inside Sales force remotely sells specific solutions, into multiple market segments, to customers or with partners, using innovative online tools and techniques.Inside Sales is an operationally excellent Sales Engine which delivers broad coverage, repeatable revenue, growth, agility and high margin. The LAC Region at SAP is currently seeking a new VP of Inside Sales. The VP Inside Sales LAC is accountable to advocate, build and lead strong and consistent execution of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. He/She is responsible for the performance of the Inside Sales organization from generation of demand to revenue close via partners (or directly in some segments), through programmically selling a targeted suite of SAP solutions and services into SAP market segments. He/She is accountable to meet and exceed Inside Sales sales revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets along with related key performance indicators. There is a preference for the role to be based in Miami, Sao Paolo, or Bogota.


Responsibilities include: • Execute on SAPs vision and strategy as it relates to the inside sales team • Develop and agree specific plans in conjunction with the Regional and Global Stakeholders to ensure revenue growth in the high volume business for market segments, solutions and industries • Ensure performance and role expectations are clearly defined, communicated and executed upon • Build and manage a scalable, consistent, operationally excellent Inside Sales team based on global best best practices to deliver on SAP business goals • Act as main advocate and transformational change agent of Inside Sales in LAC with market units and regional and global organizations to drive strong adoption of Inside Sales as a key component of the Go To Market model. • Build, enable coach and retain a high performing team with complementary strengths • Build a team of sales professionals that will become LAC's preferred pool of resources for future Field Sales positions • Proactively lead the inside Sales organization to identify further opportunities to enhance the value of the centres through new innovative approaches • Programmatically and sytematically drive key performance indicators on pipeline generation and progression, forecasting, solution mix, deal ownership to maximise incremental revenue • Programatically set up campaigns and sales initiatives, in conjunction with marketing and partners and drive conversion to incremental revenue • Drive adoption of global best practices, tools and infrastructure for continuous productivity maximisation • Build and drive a predictable, repeatable operationally excellent sales machine for LAC • Execute on relevant actions to drive up employee satisfaction and engagement


  • 10+ years strategic Inside Sales, and/or business development experience including 4-5 years minimum experience in leading large multi-cultural Remote Selling organization in a complex sales environment • Regional/International experience in a cross-functional, matrix environment • Strong understanding and passion to ensure Inside Sales and Partners work optimally together • Demonstrated ability to formulate and deploy broad organizational strategies to meet evolving customer requirements through multiple distribution channels • The ability to not only develop a strategic business plan with Regional Stakeholders, keeping a consistent model but also to mobilize and maximize the productivity of the resources to deliver • Thorough knowledge of various corporate sales models utilizing multiple distribution channels; must quickly develop deep insight into SAP's Sales organization. • Strong project management and problem solving skills. The ability to quickly identify practical solutions to problems that have a high likelihood of success. • Strong internal partnering/collaboration capabilities with multiple stakeholders along with outstanding leadership and communication skills. Must be able to devise innovative and effective solutions to complex problems with cross-functional implications. • Thorough knowledge of the LAC market • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese


Skills and experience include: • A dynamic leader who has successfully created, built and operated an Inside Sales organization before with a company known for the successful deployment of leading edge remote buying models
