At SAP you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact.The Head of Services - US Financial Services Industry (FSI) is accountable to drive the US revenue and related profit streams for SAP's FSI Services LOB business in the USA by creating a high growth rate and delivering to budget the contribution margin of the business. He/she is responsible for customer's satisfaction by developing and coaching and managing the FSI Services sales and Delivery Execution Office teams in the United States. Main financial metrics of success are Services Bookings, Services LOB Revenue and Contribution margin. Additional metrics are total License SW sales of the respective market unit, Employee engagement and SAP SW go-lives. This role will report directly to the US Head of Services for Strategic Industries.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


Strategic Set the direction to support the broad business objectives; take a long term view of the business environment and establish the business model and direction to meet the evolving challenges. Evaluate license sales opportunities to develop SAP prime engagements. Lead the region through change management processes and ensure the position and transformation of new services models, like A2O with engineered services. Alignment with the Americas Services strategy. Operational Monitor the following critical business levers to determine effective execution of strategy: Services Sales Pipeline, Backlog, verbal Forecast commitment, License sales pursuits and associated services opportunity, Prime engagements sold. Quarterly and monthly Reviews using dashboards, financial and CRM reports and headcount fill ratios. Align resources to deliver the best results for the organization and ensure an appropriate mix / balance of Professional Services and SSRS is achieved. Financial Accountable for delivering financial results. Forecast and report Services bookings revenue, margin. Report on business execution to budget and forecast. Leadership & Development - facilitates career paths and creates a dynamic environment for Consulting Sales leaders to grow; support a growing business by supporting the regions in recruiting, acquiring and developing talented employees; coach and challenge employees to deliver results associated with business objectives. Strong Executive presence and ability to manage Board (CxO) level relationships. Customer Satisfaction Assure the customer received appropriate value for their investment. Manage the escalation process effectively to mitigate risk, share learning's in order to for future customer engagements. To mitigate future risk, proactively use learning's from prior escalations to plan and react quickly to customer escalations and anticipates future escalations.


WORK EXPERIENCE


Experience in Financial Services Industry, Services Sales, Sales Leadership. Knowledge of Software License business, experience with P&L management and ability to navigate large, matrix, organizations. Solid business background with experience in financial reports and measures. Prior work experience with Tier 1 System Integrators preferred. 12 plus years of overall experience a minimum.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


BA/BS degree required / MBA Desired
