UAE-based Danway Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, a subsidiary of Al-Nowais Investments, said it has gone live with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions from SAP.

Implemented by Danway and SAP partner CSC Computer Sciences (Middle East), the end-to-end ERP solution covering the entire business value chain was successfully delivered in just 23 weeks.

SG Nair, the managing director, Danway EME, said the SAP solution greatly enhances transparency on all levels of the business, automating its processes and providing seamless integration across the company.

"This enables Danway to embrace industry best practices and to focus even more on value generation for our customers, as well as allowing us to take more informed business decisions based on robust data from a single source of truth," noted Nair.

"The project has been very well executed and I would like to thank CSC as well as SAP for their outstanding efforts and contribution to this success," he added.

Frank Forndron, the director of Quality Management, SAP Mena, said: “One of the key pillars for this achievement was a close and proactive collaboration between Danway, CSC and SAP Quality Management along the journey. Delivering software solutions that generate such tangible value does not just happen overnight."

"It takes careful planning, solid governance and strong execution measured against established criteria. At SAP, enabling customer success is a cornerstone of our strategy and we are committed to helping customers realize the full value of their investment," he added.

Alok Bapna, the managing director, Middle East and Africa, CSC, said: “This implementation integrates Danway’s business processes and provides a unified platform for smooth operations. CSC are very pleased to have delivered another successful SAP project in the Middle East.”

Established in 1976, Danway has its operations in UAE, Qatar and Oman and covers a wide portfolio of projects with its workforce of more than 1800 employees.-TradeArabia News Service
