EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


As a Technical Support Co-op/Intern, you will receive training to become part of the team providing assistance to our highly technical customers and partners. Our Technical Support Center provides phone, email, and web-based assistance to customers for one of the following products: Afaria - Afaria is the industry leading mobile device management and security platform, simplifying the management complexities of an on-the-go workforce by ensuring that all data stored and transmitted by mobile devices is secure. Afaria supports iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Windows systems. RemoteWare - Widely recognized as the industry leader in retail polling, file transfer, and content distribution. SUP - The Sybase Unwired Platform is a mobile enterprise application platform that enables enterprise developers to simply and quickly build applications that connect business data to mobile workers on any device, at any time.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Solid skills in two or more of the following areas: Windows Operating Systems, Mac OS, iPhone development, Java, networking technologies, or mobile devices Self-motivated individual with a passion for technology and a desire to learn Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work flexible hours on a planned, rotating schedule if necessary Student must be available for at least two semesters. The initial semester is a minimum of 40 hours per week. Subsequent term hours are flexible based on students class schedule.Local candidates only please, no relocations
