Develop strong executive level relationships with global field leaders and gain buy-in and support for Big Data initiatives through influence. Be an evangelist for Big Data solutions to inspire customers, partners and employees on the Big Data innovation agenda.


Global pipeline and revenue ownership for Big Data Solutions Lead Big Data TAM, Solution Specialist and COE teams Product evangelist and keynote presenter at key Big Data industry events Executive level customer meetings and sponsorships Lead development of customer offers, incentives and sales plays Partnering with the Solution Owners, develop and execute on strategies (Route to Market, Channel and Vertical) that will allow SAP to become a leader in the solution area Synthesize learnings from current sales activities in an effort to correct existing efforts or develop new programs to ensure achievement of revenue and market objectives (Best Practice Development and Field Enablement) When required, develop and execute on unique partnerships that will accelerate revenue and market success Able to work in a cross functional and matrixed work environment Ability to work with SAP Regional COE teams and sales leadership to demonstrate what a successful sales process for the solution area would be from lead generation to getting SAP Successfully selected


10+ years of software industry experience, especially in BI related applications space Intimate knowledge of the Big Data space, including SAP, partner and competitive offerings Work experience that includes time spent in a business analyst related function preferred Field sales experience


Successful track record in multiple product Go To Market efforts Strong executive communications skills Ability to quickly understand new technologies and translate to market potential Thorough knowledge of and ability to partner with all internal and external stakeholders for market success Strong program management skills Able to perform situational and data based analysis to formulate and implement recommendations for corrective actions or to take advantage of new opportunities MBA preferred
