SAP Analyst - Supply Chain - Universal Instruments - Conklin, NY

The SAP IT Analyst will work with the business customers, business process owners, technical architects, application designers and SAP configurators to define and implement the functional business process requirements for the SAP system, within the assigned functional area of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality Management.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:


Principal Accountabilities (Functional)


1. Evaluate user requests for new or modified programs and business processes to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility to current system and computer capabilities.


2. Guide functional owners in utilizing core SAP system in order to meet business needs


3. Evaluate requests or business initiatives to ensure alignment and integration with other functional areas


4. Subject matter expert on supply chain strategy, sales and operations planning, supply chain planning/performance, and inventory management, with SAP version ECC 6.0 or more recent.


5. Implement configuration changes and minor custom development, as required.


6. Excellent business acumen and communication skills are essential.


7. Perform other job related duties as required.


Minimum Requirements


1. A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, plus 3-5 years of related Information Technology experience OR a relevant Associates degree and 5-7 years of related experience OR a minimum of 8+ years in functional area of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality Management with SAP version ECC 6.0 or later.


2. Good understanding of configuration, system design, and ABAP development in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality Management as well as a good understanding of integration points between core SAP modules.


4. Manufacturing industry experience a plus.


5. SAP SCM experience is a plus.
